ABOUT ME

  I'm a data scientist. I received my M.S. degree in Mathematical Statistics at Iran University of Science & Technology (IUST). The title of my M.S. thesis was: "Fuzzy Entropy”.

I am a data scientist with statistical analysis skills and a strong interest in machine learning problems. Drawing upon my career in Economic and Psychology data, I have extensive experience in working with large and disparate data sets which I combine together in innovative ways to find solutions to problems and inventive ways to visualize and explain the data. These skills are highly transferable between academia to industry.

As a data scientist, I have discovered that having a wide range of abilities in software development (in both traditional languages such as C and others such as R and SAS), working in interdisciplinary teams and playing different roles can be key for all the players to have an understand of the importance of the data.

Of current interests are machine learning, bioinformatics and information theory problems. I am always looking for new opportunities.

Specialties: Research, Data Analysis, Statistics, Data Modelling, Data Analyses in Economic and Psychology Data, SWOT and AHP models.

Current Interests: Machine Learning, information theory, fuzzy entropy, Data Analytics,  Predictive Modelling, Data Science - usage of R, MATLAB, SPSS, Tableau, Super Decisions, TOPSIS.
I have over four years of experience working as an expert of statistics and data collection at General Department of Justice. Also, I have been the instructor at Bu-Ali Sina University for more than three years. I have a lot of experience in tutoring university and high school students. In addition, I have had lots of students from different areas in the Greater Vancouver.
